What facades and sun shading are, and where they fit
A facade is the building’s outer layer, working as both decoration and sun shade. It suits office blocks, shopfronts, hotels and homes. Popular forms include vertical and horizontal shading fins, ventilated perforated screens and linear cladding that filter light, add privacy and give the elevation real depth.
Advantages and materials
