How folding steel doors work

Roller shutters — security first
A roller shutter is a slatted curtain that rolls up into a box above the opening. It closes the opening completely, keeping out dust and driving rain, and is more secure because there is no gap to reach through or see through. That suits warehouses, shops holding valuable stock and buildings that must be sealed at night. It costs more and does not ventilate when closed.
Day-to-day use
